Christopher David Noth was born November 13, 1954
in Madison, Wisconsin.  He was educated at Marlboro
College in Vermont and Yale School of Drama.  He
also studied acting with Sanford Meisner.  Noth got
his start on the stage and in television performing
at the American Shakespeare Festival in Stratford,
CT, and appearing in productions with theater
companies across the country, including the
Manhattan Theater Club and Los Angeles' Mark
Taper Forum.  Although he had several acting roles,
his big break came when he was cast as Detective
Mike Logan on Law and Order in 1989.  His father,
Charles, passed away when Chris was 8 years old.
His mother is the CBS news reporter Jeanne Parr.
He traveled throughout the UK, Serbia and
Montenegro, and Spain with his mother.
Chris' son, Orion Christopher Noth, with girlfriend
Tara was born on January 18, 2008.
Chris co-owns The Plumm and the popular night spot
The Cutting Room in New York City, where
he can enjoy his love of music, and can be
frequently found in the NYC party scene.  Chris
has also partnered with long time girlfriend Tara Wilson
and opened Once Upon a Tea Cup in Windsor, Ontario.
